I made the first half of this as an experiment with using double-pointed needles, then got a new phone for Christmas, and realized it would be perfect as a phone cover. So I finished it up, and it works great! The combination of yarns is both attractive and more sturdy and cushioning than either on their own, making it great to hold my rather expensive new Android phone.

I was going to sew a button on the front to close it up, but I think it works well to just been tuck the flap into the case.
