I’m a little more than halfway through the skirt.

I’m technically not a crocheter, so whenever I get to a new part, I have to look up what the abbreviations mean and how to do the stitches and then teach myself how to crochet the stitches in the pattern. What fun!

I’m a little confused as to why this pattern uses two strands of worsted weight held together rather than just using bulky weight yarn?

I have to get another couple pounds of the lighter color to finish the sleeves and the rest of the sewing and embellishments.

Know that if you make the adult L/XL size, you will need more than 1600 yards of the accent color.

I didn’t like the flower accent on this pattern so I used a different pattern for the flower accent.

Ultimately I feel this pattern is better suited to child sizes. It does not translate well into an adult size. The spot at the armpits is a little thin and the skirt is too heavy for the bodice.

Chrissy got her blanket in the mail today.

She said, “THANK YOU SO MUCH for the princess blanket!!! I love it so much!!! I’m going to bring it to every rehearsal at school because the theater is freezing”
