I saw this chunky yarn pattern and thought I would experiment with downsizing it for mini AG dolls to give me a knitted equivalent for the crochet hats I’ve been making this weekend.

I also noticed that it mentioned knitting it on a circular needle. Hey! I have a size 0 circular needle that I’ve never actually tried knitting with. I’ve also never done the magic loop technique, but why not try it?

I cast on 30 because the pattern says any multiple of 3 and proceeded to start the step-by-step of the new technique. I watched a video first just to get the idea, but I much prefer a good written step-by-step when I’m actually trying a new technique.

It turns out 30 stitches is too small. I think this one will fit the tiny rag dolls.
