All boys love tractors - I thought it would be really cute to have some on baby boots. Spent ages trying to come up with a good shape bootie for the tractors and finally settled on this shape with an added slip stitch ridge around the foot as a ‘road’ for the tractor to run on! I spent ages trying to find the right ‘tractor green’ but with no luck. In the end I decided to use embroidery thread - anchor - double strand and a smaller 3.5mm crochet hook. This was easy and perfect for working on such a small scale.
Decided to size up the pattern to sizes 11 cms and 12.5cms, which should fit an average 9 and 12 month old. Will think about bigger sizes and doing them as slippers for toddlers. So many ideas, so little time….!
