I LOVED this challenge!
This has to be my most favorite crochet project ever. ALOT of thought went into how to find the right pattern & piece each section together. I almost went with an all white pattern, but my friend, Colleen made me really think. I could easily buy a white parasol, but a rainbow one?

I crocheted a rainbow cover for the handle (which was pink & did not match) leaving a hole for the button. I also made a rainbow tie for wrapping around it. It takes a bit of care opening it because it can easily get caught in the mechanics of the umbrella, but overall this is a gem!
