Notes

Old Noweigan Cast On
63 stitches
2 inches of ribbing
45 rows to heel
30 stitch Partridge heel flap and Dutch Heel; changed from knitting continental to throwing because I knit tighter throwing.
50 rows before toe
This yarn is very light, a little splitty, not a lot of give; would make a great shawl.

This sock changed from being a tube sock to a sock with heel after enrolling in Donna Druchunas’s Craftsy class, Knit Original Cuff Down Socks. What an eye-opener of a class. It really has done a lot to boost by heel and gusset confidence.

9 March: cast on second sock.
