Measures ~22” across what I guess would be the ‘chest’ of a child - and is ~16” long

Like some others have done, I too joined the rounds after the underarms - I wasn’t quite sure how to work the beginning Ch3, 1 DC at beg. & 2 DC’s at end of those rounds whether to omit them or what - so as you can see in pic of the back, I worked them as pattern states, joining each round to the top of the beg. Ch 3 - it worked & looks all right.

The white yarn also Red Heart Super Saver was thicker than the Turquoise color which was also softer, thus it caused the back opening some ‘wonkiness’ but is OK in the scheme of things :) I also worked the last row of shells in the white color from the wrong side so that they would curve inward versus flip up outward.

This is my version of it = Yellow Yarn, magic circle/ring, ch 2, 11DC in ring - change to white yarn - Petals =Ch 6 – DC in 3rd ch from hook & in next st – HDC ea of next 2 sts – sl st to next st on yellow base, repeat from * around for a total of 10 petals – can be adjust to make as many or as few petals as desired

And of course the color of yarn I used is a pretty turquoise color looks bluer in the pics.
