Wanted to make this pattern (penguin-ey) however did not have any red yarn in my stash, refusing to purchase anymore - Claret was the closest to red - thus penguin became a monkey face blanket - and as you can see I ran outta the Claret color, refusing to purchase anymore, used some soft white (I think) from my stash + brown for the edging.

Had already made the monkey face applique sometime ago - so on he went even if he doesn’t ‘match’ - some kid will hopefully get some enjoyment from it :)
