About the project
I enjoyed making this, as it’s the first big thing I’m crocheting for my daughter, who’s due to arrive in April. Once you get the hang of the pattern, it’s easy to make and doesn’t require constant counting, measuring, etc.
I like how the blanket doesn’t have any holes in it that can be dangerous for a little baby (unlike a granny square blanket, for instance).

About the pattern
Beginner-friendly pattern with a lot of repetition and easy-to-follow instructions in different languages. Pattern also includes a crochet chart, which makes it even easier to get an overview of what you’re supposed to do.
Pattern could have included how to change colors. I’ve done embossed crochet with different colors before, so I knew how to do it, but it might be nice for people doing embossed crochet for the first time.
