S/M size (36”)

MACHINE PASSAP PINKY TENSION 5.5

GAUGE
28 st by 40 Rows
1” = 7 St
1” = 9.33 or 10 Rows

I knitted the center panel first so I can knit the sides as I go.

CENTER PANEL

I cast on 58 St on waste yarn, then 1 row of cord.

In BX on back bed, starting on the center stitch, increase on each side next to the carriage one stitch until a total of 58 ST, that’s the first triangle. Then using short rows create the other triangle starting on the left corner. Then complete a big triangle using short rows. Then another half triangle and half of a triangle for the neck opening. As in the picture. I did not wrap the short rows on purpose to get a hole.

SIDE PANEL (make 2)

Cast on 40 stitches on waste yarn, Ravel cord.
Start attaching the panel to the center panel as you knit.
Knit 22 Rows.
Decrease one st on the edge of the side panel.
Knit to counter #32
Decrease one st on the edge of the side panel.
Knit to row #55
Increase one st on the edge of the panel
Knit to row #88
Increase 1 stitch on the edge of the panel
Knit to row #143

START ARMHOLE

Cast on 7 sts, then 5, then 4 (24St left)
Knit until Row 226
Armhole measures 9”

SHOULDER SHAPING

Short row 8 sts at a time to create shoulder slope. Knit 1 row on all stitches. Remove in waste yarn.

Turn upside down and knit 40 Rows of ribbing in T4 for the bottom rib. Cast off.
