Triangle 1 MOD:
The designer let me experiment with making the last few rows of Triangle 1 a bit differently - employing a short row - so that I wouldn’t have so many ends to weave in later. I also found that I needed to bind off with a different method because my edge was too tight, no matter what I tried. Here is exactly what I did:
(RS) Work Row 13 as written.
(WS) Work HALF of Row 14, turn…
…(RS) p119, rm, p2 sts, turn…
…(WS) Bind off 121 sts using Chinese Waitress method as foll: * K1, yon (i.e. a ‘backwards’ yo), k1, pass previous k1 & yon over stitch just made; rep from * 7 more times. Now work two k2tog’s into the next four sts on LH needle to encourage the edge to scallop: [yon, k2tog, pass previous stitch and the yon over the stitch just made] twice. Repeat this procedure over sets of 12 sts until 122 sts remain on needle, then sl1wyib, and purl to end.
Slip rem 122 sts to a stitch holder.
