Garland is worked from right to left.

Lay out motifs in order to be worked.

Holding 2 strands together ch 80. Place stitch marker on blue loop.

Segment 1: With yellow 1 sc on each side of picot on daffodil petal point (work behind picot), ch 7, pm.

Segment 2: With blue, ch 9, wrap around yellow chain, pm.

Segment 3: With yellow, 1 sc on each side of picot on daffodil petal point (carry blue chain in second sc) ch 24, pm.

Segment 4: With blue ch 26, attach to top of star (see below) carry yellow chain in 2nd sc, ch 35, pm.

Segment 5: With yellow ch 25, wrap around blue chain 3x, 1 sc on each side of picot on daffodil petal point (carry blue chain in second sc), ch 7, wrap around blue ch, 1 sc on each side of picot on daffodil petal point (carry blue chain in second sc), ch 24, pm.

Segment 6: With blue ch 26, wrap around yellow chain 3x, carry yellow chain in 2nd sc, ch 35, pm.

Repeat segments 5 & 6 until garland is complete. End with ch 80 (both strands held together).

Star attachment method:

Star Coaster: st st in top of dc, 1 sc in ch-sp, sl st in top of dc) (carry yellow in back of sc)

Xmas Star: sl st in top of dc, 3 sc in ch-sp, sl st in top of dc (carry yellow in back of 2nd sc)
