First time attempting to thread and weave with two heddles, with 2-1 twill.
Double 7.5dpi heddles with a 18wpi warp (Bergere organic cotton in Saumon), hoping this would square out, and it’s looking encouraging. 102 ends, 21cm wide.
Hoping to make a couple of washcloths. Using the same yarn in the weft, but in Glycine. Hemstitched.
Made sure to warp around the selvedge warp every time, regardless of what the current shed said.
Hemstitched the first washcloth at 24cm woven.
Second washcloth: I’ve changed the direction of twill after every 10 picks.
An insightful learning experience!
