Second Saori style project, first t-shirt, first attempt at leno!

Full width warp (60cm), 10dpi reed, 2.2m warp length, for 2 panels of about 54 x 70cm.

8/4 cotton for warp and background weft. Cotton Kings 500 in light beige for warp, and some of the weft, and Drops Loves You 7 in wheat and possibly cookies & cream for the weft.

Leno stripes in the sleeve areas.

Using bundles of warp waste yarn and tufts of unspun Swiss sheep wool (from Wynegg) as treasures. Occasionally twisting several warp waste yarns together to create chunkier treasure (fun idea from Weaving in the Saori way ravelry group).

For the back panel, I’m using longer pieces of yarn scraps to experiment with inlays. Lots of fun, and much faster than the front panel!
