Work 6.5 circumference size, 5 st gauge

• start with the section above the ribbing, use a provisional cast on and waste yarn to cast on the total number of stitches for the hand. ( you will pick up and knit down later.)

start 11 st snowflake chart 1/2” in, 5 rounds

• Once the hand and fingers are done, remove the provisional cast on. Work in 2x2 ribbing until you’re almost out of yarn. Work Elizabeth Zimmerman’s sewn bind off.

• Weave in ends. Give to delighted child.
