I didn’t want to crochet this, so here are my notes for my knitted adaptation.

NOTIONS:

Now, for my changes. I started with black because it’s for my

Ear flaps:

• provisional cast on using giant ball of Aunt Lydia’s crochet cotton. Set up row: Knit across all sts, placing st markers as written.
• Slip the first st, and purl the last stitch of every row to give a nice edge.
• fun fur on the outside only: use the fun fur on only the right hand side, dropping it and using only the studio worsted for the center 3 sts and the sts on the L sid. Pick up again after the second stitch marker on the WS.

Join with charcoal. (87ish sts) Knit 1 round in charcoal, then 3 rounds in cream.

Hat bit:
- work in main Fox color until hat reaches desired length. Then, decreasing 8 sts evenly around on alternating rounds, decrease to 56 sts (scarf bit).
