Notes

I made these curtains for my front and back door to cover up the window in both of them. It creeps me out to think that super tall people can look in and see what we are doing!

The pattern is Atwater-Bronson Lace from of Carol Strickler’s A Weaver’s Book of 8-shaft Patterns page 185, #613. I like that it IS woven, and it LOOKS like woven lace! I call this phenomenon “Weaving Squared.”

Made from 384 ends of crochet thread sett at 18 epi. (#12 reed threaded 1-2)

All that needs to be done is to have them hung up! Everything else is done… weaving, cutting, & sewing.

Edit 1/5/13: We hung the curtains up! Brian and I both agree that they could have been just a bit more ruffled, but I do like them a lot, and if I remember right, I didn’t want too many ruffles anyway!
