This is a fun knit. I used stitch markers to mark off the grid and that made it pretty easy to follow the chart. I just use jump rings as markers so that my stitches don’t get distorted. I also have selvedge stitches on the ends for easier construction.

Was able to easily line up the color switches on the pieces as I constructed the sweater. I definitely recommend that you use selvage stitches and do your shaping outside of them for neater construction.
Had a little issue with the collar but was able to go in afterwards and tighten that up.

I am so glad that I made the extra effort to put the ridges on - totally worth it.

This is such a cute sweater - my grandson will hopefully love it.
