Notes

Wow almost finished. I started this blanket a year ago. This yarn is so soft it could easily become a child’s favorite blanket. A gal I work with told me about this yarn and showed me how to work with it. I found it in a clearance bin and bought it all up.

Since the yarn is discontinued Michaels pulled the video that shows how to crochet with Pom Pom or Bunny Tail yarn so picking back up was interesting but not too bad. I was trying to see what they recommend for weaving in ends but had to wing it. It’s pretty easy to work with because you are actually crocheting with the cord between the poms. All you are doing is single crochet and you can only get one stitch between each pom. With other brands you can get two.

The chain is easy enough but the first row is a bear. The blanket is just rows of single crochet.

Edging:
Adapted from jka1217’s edging for her Baby Bobble Blanket.

Start Teal color in corner.
Round 1: sc in every stitch, sl at in first sc at end
Round 2: sc in every stitch, sl at in first sc at end
Round 3: ch 3, 2 dc in the same stitch, skip ch 1, sl st next 2 stitches, skip ch 1, 3 dc in next ch 1, repeat from all around, making sure to make the “shell” in each corner. Sl st to ch 3 and fasten.”Fasten off and weave in ends.
