Finished the body. This is an interesting project and a very well written and easy to follow pattern (so far). I am using Briggs and Little wool, which is heavy and thick and sticks to itself - a good yarn for this, though I’m curious how something lighter would knit up. Used a combination of fibrefill stuffing and an old nylon stuffed with these pellets - about an egg size?

I really enjoyed this project. The pattern has so many thoughtful little touches and creative ways of achieving things, like the beard and nose bobble, and such excellent videos.

The yarn I used made for some extra challenges, I think. It’s a tough yarn, and that made for some nice clean knitting but the beard came out a bit too long and it was hard to work some of the more intricate stitches. Will definitely be trying again in sock yarn, especially because this little friend came out a little larger than I had expected. I think he’s a gift for my mom now.
