My third (and final!) sockhead slouch hat, knit for my middle son for Christmas. The purple colour of this yarn was a lot lighter than I expected, and the “wave” pattern didn’t make it through a full cycle throughout the entire hat. Still, a nice soft yarn to work with, and I’m pleased with the final product. The real question is will a teenager wear a toque in winter, even if it’s made by mom with love?
