When my Provence Summer String Bag (pub’d in CEY Web-letter, Issue 139) was voted as CAL project of choice in the Market Bags group, I remembered this version of the bag in P&C left half-finished. Found it and finished it as part of the CAL.

Since the P&C yarn is a bit thicker than that called for in the original published version, I went up one hook size and worked fewer rounds, for a good-sized bag at approx. 15” x 16”. Soft but sturdy!

6/27/10 The bag traveled on a road trip to the Grand Tetons & Yellowstone. It was the perfect traveling companion!
