2 skeins of silk wool from yarnkraft. They say 8ply bulky, but that is completely wrong. Using 2.75 mm needles. The pattern suggested 4 mm needles but they were too large for the fineness of the yarn. Dunno how many repeats of the lace is possible. Probably won’t go the whole length suggested in the pattern. Yarn is a little stiff and wiry. Website says 50% silk 50% wool. Will have to see how it blocks.

24-01-2021

Changed pattern to the 4 row repeat vine lace. Was running out of yarn with the one used in the pattern. CO 58 sts. It’s already 22 inches unblocked and I’m not through with one skein. Have another skein so length will be similar if not the same.
Skipped the buttonhole. Planning to crochet a border on the longer sides for the buttons.

Lace pattern finally used (very easy 4 row repeat but looks beautiful):
VINE
Multiple of 9 sts plus 4

Row 2: k3yo, k2, ssk, k2tog, k2, yo, k1k1
Row 4: k2yo, k2, ssk, k2tog, k2, yo, k1k2

Arnob made a cute cartoon to add to the package. Packed and sent off on 27 Jan.
