Notes (Latest update at bottom)

1/6/2010 -- Began afghan and crocheted the first 12 rows… Then I noticed that the strip of crocheting was quite curved (see first picture) and I decided that it was because I had chained too tightly and needed to restart the afghan :( It was sad to see all the work come out but I’m glad that I’ve gotten into a rhythm again with crocheting!

1/7/2010 -- Restarted the afghan with a G hook for the chain and switched to an F hook for the remainder of the crocheting. WOW - what a difference it made! The edge is nice and straight and there’s no curling.

1/8/2010 -- Accidentally shifted a puff stitch column over one stitch and didn’t notice until 6 rows later =( I had to take it out and correct it. Now I know to count stitches and check the puff rows before doing an all-SC row!

1/9/2010 -- Completed XYZ row

1/11/2010 -- Completed STUVW row

March: I just found out my cousin is pregnant! Time to pick up this project again :)

3/12/2010 -- Completed NOPQR row

3/13/2010 -- Completed IJKLM row

3/14/2010 -- Completed DEFGH row (I’m on a roll!)

3/21/2010 -- Completed ABC row

3/27/2010 -- Completed SC round around outside to clean up edges
