My daughter Maya is going to be starting her freshman year at Princeton (located in a very cold New Jersey!) this coming fall and I am on the mission to knit her lots of winter accessories. She really does not have many since you do not need them here in San Diego. :-)

After visiting my daughter in Princeton for the Freshman parents weekend last weekend, walking the trail along the D&R Canal/towpath Trail and also knitting this shawl on the plane to and from NJ, I decided to name this pattern Towpath. :-)
