On the top birdie I used 3 strands held together for a much larger size. I used double strands of yarn to make the middle & bottom bird. I changed colors every 2 rows. I didn’t use any stuffing since they were pretty thick already.
You can get lazy about weaving in the ends on this project. I just tied my ends in knots since they are all hidden when you fold the circle in half. Easy peasey! I just love this bit of whimsy at my front door!
