Notes

I really enjoyed this knit. The pattern is easy to follow and well described--as always with Kirsten Kapur’s Designs
The yarn is dyed beautifully and the fabric it produced drapes fantastically. I discovered through this project that knitting with 4.25 would be the ideal needle size (for me) for this yarn- for shawls that is.

I encountered a wee b it of difficulties with the border- i redid it 4 times- not due the patter or the knitting skills problems -- but rather to get the right colour choice. I wanted a little bit of yellow in the border also in cooperate the luxury…
so after 4 times frogging the border i finally came up with this:

the body: club yarn
the first eyelet row:(all 4 of them : club yarn
the lace (the entire chart):semisolid green
the second eylet row: clubyarn
1k : semisolid yellow
1k: luxury yarn
picot loop cast off: luxury yarn

Used:
90g of self-striping Namaqualand
30g semisolid green
5g semisolid yellow

10g luxury

135g in total
