I cast 80 stitches onto my circular needles and then used the better part of one skein knitting 4 (k4) and purling 4 (p4). I started this project in February shortly after he birth of my first baby - and not surprisingly it took me until August 1 to finish it. Hard to imagine needing it in this heat - but I do plan on knittng some mittens with the second skein I have waiting in my stash.
