What a great knit!!! So quick and inspiring. Having made this in less than 2 weeks just gets my knitting juices running. And its a lovely sweater, to boot.

This yarn has been patiently waiting for the right pattern, or for someone to take it off my hands. And I believe I found the right use for it. I hope I have enough to get to the very end, as I need to make it longer in the body and also longer arms. Here we go…

2/1/12: just bound off with 11 grams (11 yards) of yarn left!! Woo hoo!!!

Mods:
Body:

• (Giftee asked for it to be at her hip line)
• did 8 rows of garter at bottom instead of 4;
• knit 10 ss stitch rows before 1st chart of leaves;
• added 10 extra rows between bottom & top leaves

Sleeves: Also a request to make them full length rather than 3/4

• did 8 rows of garter instead of 4;
• did 4 rows of ss before 1st leaf chart;
• did 10 extra ss rows between leaves.

Next time mods: place button hole 2 stitches in rather than 1. Perhaps this will decrease the stretchiness of the button band.
