I have been wanting to make this since i first saw it but the comments that it received on ravelry - put me off. However, i wanted a challenge as i was getting a bit bored by making the same thing over and over and over again. So I made some minor changes to the pattern as i wanted to do it in double knit.

Using the same number of stitches etc that is mentioned in the pattern.
it says before placing stitches on a holder, piece must measure 4 - 5 inches. Well i am at 5.5 inches already after doing the 8 row repeat the second time. So i am confused as she says “then work even until…” cant do this now. Have put a comment on the designers page and i hope to get an answer asap. No reply. I have measured another sweater that i made and from the bottom till sleeve section, it measured 7 inches, so i will do the same with this one. Do stocking stitch till 7 inches from bottom of piece and then placing them on a holder.
Did sleeves as stated but with following changes to last 4 typed out rows of pattern:
instead of repeating the last 6 rows 3x - i only did it 2x (this ended on row 44 of my sleeves)
Row 45: k1, m1, k to last st, m1, k1
Row 46 : purl
Proceeded with the YOKE as per pattern which on my row counter is Row 53.

Row 54 : buttonhole i did at the beginning and end of the row (for ease when sewing on buttons)
Row 55 : “k to 2 sts before marker, k2tog tbl, sm, k2tog’ across all markers, knit to end
Row 56 : purl
Row 57 - 90 : 55 and 56 alternatively with buttonholes on rows 54,64,74, 84 and 94
