This will be trial and error.

As per UK needle gauge - old 10 is 3.25mm and old 8 is 4mm.

Going to try and make this for a 6 month old so i will be starting with 54 sts and i think with 4mm from the start.

Using double knit wool, colour is NEON, for the yoke and then i am using 2 strands of Mirage 4 ply in colour Beige.

So far so good. Yoke is done. Had to add in couple of more rows than the original pattern Left hand index finger is sensitive to the touch from all the k2tog….

Started on the body, looking good. The mirage is so soft to the touch - love it. The neon on the other hand is BRIGHT.
One sleeve is done. Tomorrow just the other sleeve and pesto.

Sleeve done!! Ends weaved in. Just need ribbon but thinking maybe i must make an i-cord rather ???

Must take photo of this in daylight as the Neon is showing up lemonny in the photos..

Negative Note:
I dont like the way the fronts shape. I followed the increases just as the original and the fronts seems to overlap each other like a jacket does. Not sure if that is supposed to by otherwise it looks okay.

My item : chest measurement 20 inches; length from neck to bottom : 9.5 inches; underarm to end of cuff : +- 5.5 inches
