Finishing notes, June 29, 2021
Used the provisional CO, then proceeded as for ravello, 39” size, size 4 needles, but did not add sleeves. Used one row of gray between each color stripe - used back join to switch colors. Cast on 12 sts under arms to continue after separating sleeves. Increased by 2 sts on each side every tenth row down body. Tried using the border from Crystal Palace Park Cowl, but it was too fussy to go with the rest of the sweater, so instead I used thecrochet-lace as a border for sleeves and bottom - for the sleeves I just did single crochet under the arms. It’s meant to be crocheted back and forth, but I crocheted in the round for the bottom border. Just crocheted sc around the neck edge, decreasing every tenth st.

Finish neck and bottom with skinny I-cord BO from Fanel.

Use all the blue shades from Advent kit with occasional stripe of yellow or green (maybe only one row). Use back-to-back transition between yarns, use each yarn to bitter end.

Shoulders: raglan or set-in? (Note: Susie M’s set-in method does not allow for provisional CO all around neck. Also, stripes would not go all around neck. Raglan as in Ravello would work better, but I-cord might flop over.
