Loved this pattern. Clear charts, well laid out.
This was a nice easy, quick knit. I don’t usually knit lace in this weight yarn, I prefer a finer lace / cobweb weight but thought this would be nice for a change and for the cooler weather. So pleased I chose this pattern. I will defiantly be buying another in the series, if I can only choose which one!!

The beads I added were size 6/0 (4mm) Transparent Purple Lustered (ebay!!). I used approx 700.

Didn’t do nupps as I was concerned about the yardage, plus nupps didn’t look right with this yarn. Swapped nupps for beads from border chart 3 onwards.

I bought the yarn from Colourmart as I fell in love with the colour, dark purple is my fav!!
It’s a cashmere / Merino mix but had quite a stiff / crisp handle while knitting almost like cotton or linen was in the blend, still, it softened down with washing but still retained enough crisp to give good stitch definition. Had to rinse a few times for color run but nothing major.

Size after blocking and relaxing is approx 60” x 26”
Total weight is 178g with 53g being beads!!
Used 125g of yarn, approx 590m. Was toying with the idea of a picot bind off but with only 25g left over I think I would have run out of yarn, maybe next time!

My blocking is not great, pinned out quite ferociously but just blocked it by eye, turned out reasonably even!!

OK, so my photo taking skills are not that great either!! and the colour is really hard to capture!
