Notes

My daughter is a big Hulk fan and she loved this yarn when she saw it online (while trying to help me make a decision on what to buy) and she chose this pattern of several I showed her which had the large number of rows -- which is part of Mmario’s Queen series. Therefore the name.

Starting on Row 180 I began doing s2kp (central double decreases) instead of p3tog. I did any p as ktbl and p2tog as k2tog. If I were to do it over, I may change all the p3tog to s2kp, but it does give a different texture. The center veins of the “leaves” are indented with the purl method and would be raised if I switched it.

I had large blocks of time while waiting several times a week so that this went very quickly -- Sometimes so much so that I had to rest my hands the next day after 8 or more hours of knitting.

Loved the yarn. I have 198 gr left of the 2nd 300 gr ball, and it did just what I’d hoped without me having to do anything special. After the dark, there is just a slight lighter edge to set everything off nicely. Pictures to follow.

I was able to pull this out to 72 inches point to point while blocking and felt I could have gone another inch or more. But when I released it from the blocking board it bounced back to about 68 inches point to point -- still a good size which is what she wanted.
