On Rnd 162, I did not put a yo in the center st or a k3tog. Instead those three stitches were skp, k, k2tog because I planned that area to be a valley in the final blocking stage.

I did not complete the final rnd (163) as in the pattern. instead I beaded every other stitch. Then I bound off, putting a chain between each bindoff. (K, sl back, k again, bo, k next st, slip back,k again, bo, around) which made small gaps between the beads.

For blocking:
I put a 3 ft length of weed wacker cord along the edges from the center of each repeat to the center of the next. I pinned neck opening so it wouldn’t stretch too much. Then I pinned the center of each repeat out to 22”.from the outside of the neck opening. Then I pinned the curve out to a max of 25 inches from the outside of the neck opening, removing the other pins, and using enough pins to give a nice curve on each section. .
