Notes

I decided to try the color ways of another ripple I saw only using this pattern. So I’ll crochet 3 rows in pink, 1 in purple, 1 in pink, 3 in purple, 1 in pink, 1 in purple, 3 in pink. Continue on until finished.

I adapted the pattern.

I don’t like the look of chains on the ends when turned so I chain 1 and turn and DC two times in the first stitch to avoid it.

It was too big so I took some pattern repeats out. Mine was Chain 127. To finish the edges I first went around the outside in DC with purple following the ripple pattern on the ends but plain dc on the sides and followed that with 1 row of pink.

When I finished it I made a diaper cake baby carriage out of it. I used 2 receiving blankets (homemade), 5 burp rags (homemade), 38 newborn diapers, 3 toilet paper rolls taped together and covered with tissue paper for each wheel, plus rubber band, ribbon and stickers.
Its a baby shower gift for my daughter-in-law’s baby shower.

The worse part was weaving in all the ends. It took me about 3 days to do it. I would do about 10 or so then I would quit for a while or until the next day depending on my level of patience that day.
