Notes

I was inspired by the Wheaten pattern and decided to use a variation of the ostrich plumes stitch from the Big Book of Knitting Stitch Patterns. I came up with the ‘diamond tree’ pattern and alternated this with cables.

7/6 - At the half-way point at 36”.

8/17 - I am at 43” and have attached the 4th skein of yarn.

8/22 - I am at 51.5” and not too much further to go until I reach 65”.

8/24 - All done and the piece is now being blocked.

This piece came out very nice and, at this size (65” after blocking), can be worn as either a scarf or a shawl/shoulder wrap. The pattern is now available for purchase.
