Notes

Classic Elite’s Inca Alpaca creates beautiful lace! The pattern was easy to commit to memory and the yarn is just a joy to work with. (The turtleneck uses almost a hank of yarn by itself.) It creates a relatively thin fabric so it looks good on and it is warm.

I didn’t use markers when shaping the lace, but I did re-count the sts across the row after each decrease. You could also mark off the center # of sts after all decreases are worked & before binding off for underarms, as soon as you cast on. Then you’ll know to just decrease the sts outside of each marker. This was a fun knit and like a good book, I didn’t want it to end.
