It’s only taken me a few days to knit this: New Year knitting in front of the box, resting after a super-busy Christmas . The yarns held together knit up to a worsted aran-ish weight and it’s mainly stocking stitch, so it’s quite a breeze!

I’ve used the Drops Kid Silk throughout, with the Nateby as the MC1 and the Vickevira handspun (labelled ‘Finnish + Sparkle’ ) for the stripes and border. My only mod was to start each row with a K1, YO, K1 to keep the top edge of the shawl as loose as possible. Blocking: quite a bit smaller width-wise than the stated size, but this will do me fine!

…omigosh, this is so soft and subtlely sparkly in its simplicity
