I knit this hat in the round, starting with and inch and a half of 1x1 rib on size 4 needles. Then I switched to size 6 needles and knit in moss stitch until I ran out of gold yarn. Then I added an inch of grey, and 2.5 inches of midnight before decreasing by k2tog for 3 rounds and cinching the top closed. The grey pompom on top really finishes it off!

I LOVE this hat and can’t wait to knit more versions of it!
