The twins have been quite good sleepers so far, so I dared to start knitting something for myself… We’ll see if that’s too ambitious of me

Yoke done
I’m making solid progress on my while the babies are napping. I love the yoke pattern very much, and also how the colors go together. In the right light the camel has almost a golden appearance.
I’m seperating body and sleeves now and decided to use basting stitch to create side seams and sleeve seams in order to stabilize the sweater.

Finished body
I spend the holidays knitting while the twins were napping and my oldest was busy playing with his new wooden train tracks. I managed to finish the body
Now there are only the sleeves left to knit, so I’m very positive to being able to wear the sweater already this season
I love how the yoke came out, can’t wait to see the whole thing blocked at the end!!

Finished left sleeve

Finished knitting. Tomorrow going to weave in ends and finally block! :)
Finished!!
I LOVE this sweater! Love the design, love the colors, love the yarn!
I’m very grateful the babies allowed me some time to practice self-care and having fun knitting this sweater. Stockinette body and sleeves are always good for some in-between-knitting and in between relaxing.
I used basting stitch to stabilize the garment on body and sleeves. I also added a round of crochet to the neckline for better shape and longevity.
Very happy with this one!
