Notes

My sweet niece, Alix, has chronically cold hands and wears a pair of these mitts at work. Her current pair is just about worn out and she asked for a new pair, in black, to match the jacket she wears at work. Of course, I made two pairs, but can’t get a decent picture because of the color.

It’s so satisfying to make something for someone who actually uses and appreciates the finished object! This project also gave me the opportunity to completely rewrite the pattern. I updated the formatting, corrected an error, and added a method for getting those pesky faux ribs started easily and accurately.

I may be adding another pair soon. Hopefully, I’ll be able to get a better picture then.
