Well, this one was a challenge, and I failed it. The instructions for the scallop set up a repeat of 8 rows, the following instructions suggest that it should have been 6 rows, and the last row shows that, in fact, it really meant 7.

The scallop is off center, which bothers me, and can’t be moved without messing up the rest of the pattern. And, if you do manage to make your way through this, the scallops are going to slightly overlap in a messy sort of a way.

Oh, and don’t even get me started on Row 6 and the gibberish to be found there.

This is the best that I could do and it’s partly based upon the associated picture…which is backwards. I love a good spider motif, but this is not the one!
