Finished the beginning decrease section and the knit even rows. About to embark on the increases. I will use the EZ M1R and M1L as described in this Knitty article. On the even row following the increase row, I knit the increases to twist them more closed.

Going to be a girl - so I can do the buttons now.

Finished the seaming today.

I added a tube hat in garter stitch. Might be too small….but it is sooooo stretchy.

First hat seemed impossibly small (preemie sized - 5 inches in all dimensions), so I made a second for her (7 inches in all dimensions). Better!

The Mom sent me a photo of the newborn in the jacket. Wow, a fingering weight BSJ is teeny-tiny. I imagine she’ll only be able to wear this for about a week!!!!

Next one I make will be in a heavier-weight yarn.
