2nd skein: Attached a couple of rows before textured/waves pattern.
3rd skein: Attached when starting accordion ruffle.

26 Dec: 3rd skein was in 2 parts, left the smaller part at home when I left for vacation, thinking I wouldn’t need it… But 15 rows into the ruffle I’ve run out of yarn. Now gotta wait with finishing this baby til I get back home!

29 Dec: Gah, the tiny bit of yarn I had at home was only enough for binding off, really… So I have 14 rows of the accordion ruffle, not 24 as stated in pattern.
Which means, btw - accordion ruffle takes more than a full 100g skein in total, most likely about 1½ skeins. Good to know for future knitting!

Pre-blocking measurements:
Width: 120 cm
Depth: 53 cm

Important when blocking: If you want that accordion ruffle to be pleaty, don’t block out the pleats but make sure to “scrunch them up”/shape them pleaty while blocking. My blocking was mostly done to straighten out the top edge and the textured part of the shawl, and I did an effort to pinch every accordion pleat together when in a wet state, to ensure a pleaty look. It might take a bit longer to dry, but it’s totally worth it!
