This is the second project that I made with tessellating arrows. I had to slightly adjust the width of the arrow so that I could achieve the jacket width using whole arrows only. I pretty much made up the pattern as I went, basing it loosely on some of Kaffe Fasset’s jackets from his first book “Glorious Knits”.
I used about 50 or 60 yarns in this project. I used mostly 2 yarns together for most of it, some thicker yarns were used singly. Average weight was probably “Aran” (8 WPI). This is mostly wool, but also used some cotton, linen, chenille, mohair, and a bit of silk.
The main knitting was done on a 5.5mm (US 9) and the cuffs, ribbing and collar on a 4.5mm (US 7) needle.
