All in all, I love the pattern and I love the yarn, though I wish I had reversed the direction of one of the yarns. With both of them zooming from cool to warm together you really don’t get the impact of two different gradients. Also, I think I’d use two yarns with stronger contrast.

That said, I loved working with the Wolles Cotton/Silk Tweed, though the silk strand stretches and you have to be pretty aware of it so you don’t build up a giant loop.

I used a 2/4 picot bind off.

The three designers to choose from are Isabell Kraemer, Nim Teasdale, and Joji Locatelli. I chose Nim and her Earthstar, and I’m super excited to use Elisabeth’s new(ish) Cotton/Silk Tweed color changing yarn. It’s SO GORGEOUS! Though I probably could have chosen something easier for slipped stitches and cables, this is what I MUST KNIT!
