I had such a blast knitting this pattern!

I guess I just posted photos during clue 2. I’ll admit - I found brioche a bit tedious by the end. Though I did actually repair a dropped stitch - a successful surgery, I’m happy to say.

Then, along came clue 3 and my joy in this MKAL got even larger. I haven’t had so much fun knitting in a long time! I love this.

I am having so much fun knitting this! Just a few rows more and clue 1 is done - and then the wait until Friday for Clue 2.

Talk about waffling! I started late last night with the sage and deep orange from Lilou and Zauberwiese - but the heavier Silk/Yak was so obviously a different weight yarn…

Back to the drawing board, and decided to use some TL, in orange (Garibaldi) and pink/red (Cactus Flower). Since it’s heavy lace/light fingering, I went down to a US3 needle. I’m just as happy as can be with the fabric - the added benefit will be a smaller shawl, better for the vertically challenged, like me. smile
