Two little rectangles make up this easy-peasy collar. The way it sits is flattering to the neck and jaw line and drapes over the shoulder so nicely! And its generous proportions add extra warmth on the shoulders.

The collar was easy and I’ll be using this brilliant idea again. The only thing to remember is to make sure the seaming doesn’t show by stitching from the wrong side all the way around. (Just the reverse of what you normally do when setting a collar.)

This sweater was another instance of getting my money’s worth from The Vogue Knitting bible. For designing your own sweaters, it can’t be beat, and I highly recommend it to all levels of knitters.
