Notes

This feather and fan pattern was so addictive, I couldn’t stop. Add to that the anticipation that builds with every color change happening between the Zauberball and Kauni, and you’ve got an 84” shawl in no time at all! I knit this on size 8 straight needles and blocked the heck out of it for a nice lacy affect. The colorways go beautifully with my favorite jacket, a Baabaazuzu. They’re online and make for some stunning cool-hunting as all their fashions are upcycled from old wool suits. I’ll be wearing this with a graceful shawl pin Octopus from Etsy artist Airshipartifacts. Feather and Fan is now my favorite “speed stitch” and I’ve already got more yarn and another little octopus lined up for future projects. The second octopus is hand blown glass from Emergent Glassworks, also on Etsy.
